Re: ASIO4all-No, at least for Cards that Support ASIO

Well, if you have a card with ASIO drivers, you can use either Foobar or Winamp which has ASIO output plugins available.

As for using ASIO4ALL with an ASIO driver... I am not sure if you ARE indeed using the ASIO side of the driver. I think ASIO4ALL uses the WDM side. The whole point of ASIO4ALL is to add latency control for soundcards that do NOT have native ASIO drivers... so I don't think ASIO4ALL "knows" to use ASIO drivers when they are available.

I think ASIO4ALL will always piggybacks on the WDM driver.

Most modern ASIO capable cards DO have WDM support as well...
