This is the key. Everyone is saying what output method they are using, but it would be helpful to hear what hardware.My Scott Nixon USB DAC doesn't support Kernal Streaming or ASIO, so i use the direct sound. Actually I use my iBook which makes this all moot for me, but I occasionally connect to my windows PC and use foobar/direct sound.
