Why would clipping the LEDs matter...when they are power off of the USB/computer power, not in the signal path or drawing the power supply supporting the dac? Hmmmm.....And if it made a huge difference, why would Scott use them, or at least not offer a $1 switch to kill them if desired...? Just sounds odd to me...Not saying that clipping LED's can't help in the right context, BUT this surely doesn't seem to be it...
