Hi everyone,
Looking for ideas as far as components (brand, model, etc) to put together a computer based entertainment system.
My needs:
1. to store music on a hard drive
2. the ability to use menus on TV screen (like XP Media Center)
3. slim case design so it's not so unsightly to sit in living room
4. to go with #2, to be able to use a remote (Like my Harmony 880).
5. Eventually store my entire music library on HD for playback through stereo.
I imagine it would be fairly simple. slim case, motherboard, cpu, memory and HD big enough to handle Win XP or upcoming Vista with ease. That part I have down pretty good.
Looking for ideas on what video card/audio card to use.
