Hey gang:
This might be fun to play with. JVC has a line of digital receivers that accept a USB input from PC. The USB link supports 16/44.1 and 16/48 signals (according to the manual).
There is also a wireless model.
According to tech support, the amp stage takes a digital input and does not convert to analog first, making the setup a true "D2D" amplification chain, and not "A2D" (analog input) like the Tripath based technology.
Things that make you go "Hmmmmmmm...."
