Well, despite the hype in reviews and on the company's web site, the Q-Drive is not as quite as less expensive drives.So I am sending it back and getting an OWC Elite-AL Pro 500 gig drive. I have an OWC Elite Pro (300 gig) that I compared to the Q-Drive, and the OWC is definitely quiter.
