Tip: for best ripping results try the new dbPowerAmp R12 beta 1 plsua Plextor drive

I'm pretty impressed with this, especially with a Plextor PX-760A drive (this is a genuine Plextor drive, not a rebadge).

R12 beta 1 supports Plextor features (like disabling the audio cache via the FUA bit).

What it does is rip really fast in burst mode if the disc is present in the AccurateRip database, but if any errors are encountered it can use secure ripping (like EAC).

Supports gapless ripping, Album Art (via AMC), compatible with iTunes and WMP.

I'm almost tempted to rerip my CD collection (then again, maybe not - I have over a thousand CDs, and several hundred have been ripped). Maybe I'll just rerip my favourite CDs.
