CD details

At least some digital music systems, such as Itunes software or the Imerge devices, are capable of storing and displaying the artwork that would decorate the packaging of the CD version of any music they are asked to store. Some will retrieve the images automatically from a central database over an internet connection.

I, though, would like to store all the written material that came with the CD. For example, in the case of an opera, I'd like to be able to read the text, and a summary of the plot.

1 Is such material available from any central databases?

2 If not, which software can store the material if I scan it myself? (In effect, I am asking how many systems allow multiple images to be associated with an album, rather than just the single cover art image).

3 Would the material be readable in practice if displayed on a HD TV screen?
