Assuming you've gone through the bios and basic diagnostics _grin_Probably a driver conflict.
Try loading video drivers immediately after you get it running and before you load service pack two.Immediately after loading video drivers, load updated motherboard/chipset drivers.
then load audio and other hardware drivers
If that doesn't do it, see if there is an updated bios and flash the bios. I prefer to use a battery backup when flashing the bios - can have major problems if lose power during bios flashing.
The fact that it will run good enough to load service pack two indicates a software/driver conflict
Leave the wireless stuff till last to see if that is where the conflict is
