I never think about upgrades any more - the Burwen Bobcat USB dac was the last system change I'll probably ever make, that was well over a year ago now. I'm still amazed by the sound of my system nightly - esp since there are no tubes any more - absolutely nothing to fret about any more - audio kind of bores me now, there's just nothing more to buy.I still have a preamp for safety - the little Creek OBH12 - just to protect my Quads, but it sounds like there's no preamp there at all, in fact I can't hear any of my hardware that I can possibly identify.
