Jim:It's not really a dilemna at all. All you need to do is select your onboard audio codec under the windows audio properties for playback and recording. Now you can use your Audigy NX using ASIO4ALL. A better way to go would be to use your onboard sound as your "primary soundcard" and get an ASIO capable card for your "Foobar 2-channel card".
I am not sure if using the Audigy NX as a "windows" card and then using a USB solution for your "audio" card.
Others may be able to chime in on using an ASIO USB card with a non-asio USB card.
