Thanks for the quick response.I hadn't really considered sample width - just assumed that any converter that could handle a specific sample width would do so for all frequencies - in fact, from my days in instrumentation, I'd assumed that due to DAC & ADC latency, maximum sample width would if anything decrease as rate increased (and vice versa).
Is this a feature of Asio4All? Does the Freeway have a real Asio driver?
I currently use Foobar (9) set permanently at 32 bit, though as I never do anything beyond 48K I have been tempted to just use 16 bit.
