I'm just curious, isn't setting IRQ priority worthless if you have ACPI enabled and are sharing IRQs?Have you tried disabling ACPI (and installing WinXP as "Standard")?
I have not tried any of this, and am not an expert, but these are the first thoughts that came to my head.
