Found 2 important settings in XP Registry regarding PC audio:KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl
IRQ20Priority (REG_DWORD)=0x1 (if Sound card IRQ=20)
Win32PrioritySeparation (REG_DWORD)=0x18The first setting allow Sound card working at top priority than other devices. This will prevent missing any music info sending to Sound card. Thus to the audio system from PC.
The second setting allow CPU time slot equally allocate to Foreground & Background job. PC audio usually running at Background.
