Re: PC Audio: Mac or PC?

After recently purchasing a Wavelength USB DAC, I needed a PC to drive it.

For multi-functionality (music server by night, computer by day :-) a laptop made practical sense, and now that MAC's will run both OS's, for me, a MacBook was a perfect choice. It's silent, portable, and quite robust.

BTW, the MacBook represented my first foray into the the land of Apple, and the journey has exceeded my expectations. Both operating systems co-exist quite nicely, and the MacBook is all that I need for music and portable computing.

In fact, I just disconnected the MacBook from the music rig to take it to the screen porch where this is being composed. Given that the weather today is picture perfect, it's wonderful being outside and connected to the net! However, when I want to go back inside and listen to the rig, it couldn't be easier -- very slick indeed.
