My experiences with Cowon iAudio X5 (60gb version) are very good. It:
-does not require any software like iTunes to be loaded
-acts as a USB MAss storage device, allowing me to save my files in folder hierarchies (music & otherwise)
-plays almost every format including FLAC
-has great sound quality
-has good FM reception
-has a mic and an analog input for recording directly from analog outs (like cassette decks & LPs) and burns these into MP3 on the fly.I have used it to play FLac files (that I burnt on my PC earlier with EAC & compressed into FLAC) and have been very pleased.
Strongly recommended and available at amazon (I am merely a happy customer and have no commercial interest in this whatsoever).speri che questo aiuti
