So I got a MacBook without ever realizing that it had an optical audio out. Thats a nice surprise! My plan was iTunes: Apple Lossless --> MacBook --> HagUsb --> Benchmark DAC1. But it seem that I can do iTunes: Apple Lossless --> MacBook --> Benchmark DAC1, right? Which of these options do you guys think will be sonically better, is there going to be a difference? Also what kind of cable would I need for the latter.Thanks a lot!
