Yes the Optics cable should work with most USB audio devices that handle 24/96. Just make sure its ONLY 2 channel. If its one of those 7 or 10 channel or some such no way is USB 1.1 going to handle it. You CAN use the 1.1 cable with a 2.0 port on a computer, it works fine, it just transfers data at the "full speed" rate not the "high speed" rate.John S.
