Your PC is digital, and your amp is digital, but that amp takes an analog input does it not? If you are using an el-cheapo dated soundcard for D/A conversion (analog output) you're pretty much wasting your time.

In any case, you need to turn the sliders "all the way down" for all PC mixer "inputs" that you are not using. Even an auxiliary input can add noise. If this does not solve your problem, it could be an issue with the soundcard - check to see if updated drivers are available.

A good USB DAC would be just the ticket for this setup - and some are available in kit form for very reasonable $$$.
