Use Apple Lossless. Fits a lot of music on your iPod while allowing for high rez playback. Trying to manage two file formats for every album would be a nightmare.BTW you don't have to rip twice. In iTunes you can convert any selected music into whatever file format you have selected as your importing format. This creates a copy of the files in the other format.
