I’ve got an iBook set up as follows:Win2K server with shared iTunes folder > AirPort base station > AirPort Express > optical out to Musical Fidelity X-DACv3 > Musical Fidelity X10v3 > Jeff Rowland preamp > NHT XdA
The iBook connects to the iTunes library on the Win2K server using SMB and then uses AirTunes to feed the preamp. It works for me.
It would be nice to feed the digital directly into the XdA, and bypass the converson.
