I looked at that one, but I want either Coax or AES/ABU XLR3 digital output - not toslink.

The upshot is that it seems NOT to be USB Bus powered. I would shut off the 48VDC phantom power supply since you're not using a mic input. I would also measure the voltage output of that DC Wall-wart plug and consider doing a battery powered option, or a really good linear power supply option. P/S quality is a biggy with these devices and wall-warts are not known to be the best way to get clean DC.
