Edirol U-101 USB2 A/D and D/A converter

Anybody tried the Edirol U-101 USB2 multi-channel A/D and D/A converter? I tried it as an USB2 to Toslink (it does not have SPDIF in/out, Toslink only) converter and worked extremely well to my Altmann DAC. Lot more transparent and dynamic sound than any other USB/Firewire to SPDIF converter I tried earlier.
