another question...

136.2.1.103

As I've mentioned I'm using EAC to rip my cd collection into FLACs. I was wondering what the 'peak level' means in the catalog file. I've noticed sometimes that the 'peak level' is anywhere from 50% to 100%. The 'track quality' level tho is always at 100%(unless I have a very scratched cd in which case is sometimes reads around 95%). Does the 'peak level' affect anything or do I just need to worry about the 'track quality'??

Thanks again everyone for your help.

another thing, when I'm done ripping my songs I want to find info on setting up an audio pc. I know nothing about this(e.g.--squeezeboxes, DAC's, etc.) Is there a website that describes in detail the options of how to get the audio OUT of the pc? How different options affect the output and what not?

I see mention of DAC's and such and just have no idea about this stuff.
