10% sounds like something is wrong. I've used EAC to rip CDs to FLAC and my average is about 50% (720kbps avg for 9243 items). It might be worth double checking the external compression settings on your EAC.I'm not sure if this applies to Foobar, but it is standard to install applications to the C: drive.
