There's a few suggestions below. 128kbps is quite good. A 128kbps WMA file is equivelent to a 196kbps mp3 file.Classical:
iTunes has the following modern classical stations already bookmarked in the "Radio" menu (just click on it in iTunes).
(1)radioioClassical 128 kbps Cutting-edge mix of modern classical with your host George Hitchcock -- Beethoven is dead!
(2)1.FM –  Otto's Baroque Musick 128 kbps Classical Baroque
(3)1.FM –  Otto's Classical Musick 128 kbps Otto's Classical selection
For jazz:
In Windows Media Player - click on "Radio" then "International" then scroll to:
"Denmark DR Jazz" (Denmark Radio) (128kbps)
In iTunes click on:
1.FM –  Bay Smooth Jazz 128 kbps 1.FM's Bay area Smooth Jazz channel
There are some 196kbps stations as well. Most stations are free there are some pay radio staions as well. The lates number I saw indicated that there are over 100,000 Internet Radio Stations!
