AES/EBU versus SPDIF?

I have CardDeluxe which is connected to Parasound Dac 2000 through SPDIF.
There is a bracket for CardDeluxe which provides AES/EBU interface and it costs 95$. My question is is there any audible improvement using AES/EBU instead of SPDIF ind does it worth a trouble and 95USD?
