Goto diyhifi.org and judge for yourself. USB is a cheap output device and is refreshed every 1mS. Why this should have no jitter problem is beyond me, especially since ripping to HD still requires reading from a cheap transport. Software does not cure hardware problems - an assumption that is made repeatedly here.
