MA-1 and speaker impedance

Hi,
I just discovered this forum. Have had Atma-sphere MA-1 for some time. Now I am designing speakers for it. I have chosen drivers that have hi-ish impedance but am having trouble keeping the impedance up with the addition of the crossover. There is a dip down to 4 ohms at around 2000hz. Also I wonder if I should add some impedance compensation to flatten it out. How important is speaker impedance to this amplifier?
