My friend also owns a pair of stack Quad ESL 57, and want to try to drive by Berning ZH270. However, We're not sure this amplifier is suitable to drive stack Quad ESL 57 or not. Refer to what David Berning told me the ZH270 has a maximum output voltage around 29 volts RMS. What you guys think?

- 29 Volts into 8 Ohms is 105 Watts. I think that's at least 60 Watts too many. - jeffreybehr 23:47:06 05/19/06 (3)
