Thanks, Ralph. Regarding the "bias current per section" note, I haven't received my tubes yet, but the data sheet seems to indicate a single triode per envelope.?.? The "Novacron" looks like it used 4 per channel, was that about 60WPC into 8 ohms? I'll just emulate the 6SN7 Hedge circuit, with some sort of direct coupled constant current driver per output tube (1/2 6SN7). Obvuiously if I can swing +/- 130 volts into the tubes' input capacitance and grid leak that should be sufficient. But do the tubes go into grid current? I also haven't seen curves for the tube.Stuart
