I asked this a while ago and received a few responses. There is quite a bit more written on the subject in the old archieves ( http://www.audioasylum.com/forums/otl/archive.html ).

I ended up with a CBS tube in #1, a 50's RCA in #2 and a chrome top Sylvania in #4. Lately I have been shuffling them around to see if I can improve further.

I am not at home to list more detail on the tubes, sorry.
