Check the specs for the B65 and ECC33 carefully. I think this question used to arise frequently on the old ASOG; the B65 and ECC33 are NOT electrically identical to a 6SN7, could cause problems in some cases. (I can't recall what the differences are, haven't thought about those tube types in a couple of years.) Just get a good RCA or other tube manual and check it out.
