Well, my S-30 isn't an MA-2, but I did mess with it quite a bit initially and found the first one to make the biggest difference with the last two being subtle at best, no matter what I put there. A real sleeper is the National Union, black base with black on the top portion of the glass which I liked slightly better than the Sylvania GTs (JANs with chrome dome, red base). I've also got a pair of the Sylvania VT-231s in the last place, more JANs, but I recall the chrome domes as being sweeter which I moved to #2 after getting the NUs.
