Differences between M60 and MA* amps

I try to figure out the difference between M60 and more expensive "Music Amplifiers". Or it only the count of tubes.
My M60.MKII.3 has serial 608 and it lacks resistor mod to be called Up to date, at least.
But what should i do to get mine to same mod level as MA amps? Power supply regulation? Bypass caps on electrolytes? ...?
I also like to try Riken or tantal resistor on signalpath, to get bit more tubey sound and hopefully some more mibbas. Just does not know yet which of them is on signalpath on driverstage.
Any experienced diy colleagues around?
