I can say with total confidence that you will have no issues whatsoever. If you go with Ralph's AtmaSpheres, they are so bulletproof and benign to your speakers, that you will become bold and lazy to the point that you may get into trouble when using your solid state and/or transformer coupled tube amplifiers!Bad input or output tubes or shorts don't phase much of anything, other than an audiophile's nerves.
Myself, knowing that whenever the amp is shorted, which I have done more than once, the music simply stops playing. No fireworks, no speaker damage, no amplifier damage, no nothing. Usually, all I notice is that one channel has no sound, then I utter something in disgust of myself. Moving around my speakers without shutting things down, or disconnecting my very stiff louspeaker cables can do this.
I have to force myself to be careful when I am playing with my other amps...
