On an MA-1, the standard value is 0.22uF, but 0.10uF is acceptable. On the M-60, standard value is 0.10uF, but 0.047uF is also acceptable. Obviously, a 0.10 will cutoff one octave higher than a 0.22, but we're talking about something like 1Hz vs. 2Hz.. pretty well academic in those ranges.

Since the price of the cap is directly related to its value - and for a given value 'X', 0.5X should have less artifact - choose the smaller acceptable value for your amp.

Haha, considering the prices of some of these hi-flying caps, it had better be the pocket with your wallet ;-) But seriously, this is one of the best price-to-performance-ratio mods you can make.
