Re: 1000 Ohm loudspeaker

For most currently available OTL designs, certainly including circlotron types where the output supply voltage rails are relatively low, you don't want 1000-ohm speakers. There is a law of diminishing returns as impedance goes up. 16- to 32- or maybe 64-ohms is Nirvana. 16-ohm speakers ARE a real-world possibility and already exist.
