Totals are supposed to be 2dB more efficient than the Supers. Therefore they should be easier to drive. There are 6 1/2 inch midrange drives on the Total vs the 5 inch midrange on the supers. Two 10 inch bass drivers on Totals vs two 8 inch on Supers. Totals go a little lower than the supers but are also a little slower.
Now for the sound. They sound very similar. Some prefer the Supers to the Totals and vice versa. Personally, I don't think it is an upgrade. Your room size will play a big role in determining which you prefer. The totals can easily overload a smaller room with bass.
BTW, I think the Eclipse series from Coincident work better with Atma-Spheres than their Victory line. Good luck.
