Have you considered the Atma-sphere MA-1s? Very decent price for the quality (very high) and often available on Audiogon.com . If you want to keep your low impedance speakers, I would also suggest adding Paul Speltiz's Zeros( www.zeroimpedance.com). My Zeros easily allow me to drive my Von Schweikert VR-4s (3.5 ohms in the bass, 90db sensitivity) with Atma-sphere M60s (60-80 watts a side). Good luck. Best. Jamie

P.S. The heat factor must be considered--all OTLs get quite hot and a tube preamp/linestage (e.g. Atma-sphere MP-3) only adds to the (very) warm and cozy nature of your listening room. Be prepared to turn up your air conditioning! Also, the Class A Atma-sphere OTLs draw a lot of power--the M60s are 600 watts a side or so--so plan on a higher electric bill. Worth it, though...
