Clay, hi. Never heard the H3. I think Julius' Co. name was Harvard Electronics when this amp was built. The amps evolved as he was able to get more powerful horizontal output tubes culminating with the 6LF6 & H3aa. If the H3 uses a 6EJ7 on the front end try to find some Siemens-Halske made in Western Germany. These have mesh-like plates. I tried every 6EJ7 I could find in H3aa and they were best. I found the first tube is key to sound of amp. Happy listening. Have you had someone check out the electrolytic caps? I think the H3 dates to 1965 or so.
