OK - I have a budget around $2K for tube amp. I play all sorts of music - have a bias for the blues, opera and progressive rock - and play it loud.
My room measures 30 by 12 by 7(height,ft). My current speakers are rated at 97spl - 8 ohms.
I like the VAC 100Watt model.
Waiting to see the new Transcendent Sound OTL amp when it comes out - not certain of the price.
Any other recommendations - I have a 100watt SS now, but very intrigued by OTL's.
