Hi Mike,I am very interested in being an early adopter of your passive Ingot. I am currently using a simple passive stepped resistor attenuator in my system but I have also been playing with a friends transformer volume control which uses SAC trannies from Thailand.
As expected, the TVC sounds much better in my system which comprises a Basis 2800 vacuum turntable with Vector tonearm and ZYX Airy 3X Cosmos nude cartridge into a ZYX Artisan battery buffered phono stage OR a Cal Audio Labs CD/DVD player used as a transport into an Altmann Attraction battery powered DAC. My amp is the little Yamamoto Sound Craft A-08S using Emission Labs Solid Plate 45s. My current speakers are ZU Definitions. Can you please advise on the suitablility of your Ingot in my system and give me some idea of expected delivery date and pricing? Ideally I would prefer a unit with stepped dual mono volume knobs to provide some left/right balance control. Three inputs is sufficient for my system. What RCA connectors have you found to be the best in terms of performance and durability? I like the look of the WBT NextGens but they seem a little fragile.
