Gang,
So about a year ago I made a guitar amp with on of the HB+ or HBV versions of Mike's BCP16 Grid Choke. The same thing happened today. When I look at the one side of the choke I see the -63V DC bias voltage. When I look at the other terminal it is 0.
When I put any of these on a DVM on ohms the freaken meter goes hay wire. -62M ohms and just freaken out. Tried another meter and in one direction 68M and the other direction -10M.
So I grabbed an old one I had sitting around in a proto amp and it measure 3.2K.
Anyone else running into these problems?
Thanks,
Gordon
