RE: Altec 1570 B output transformer

When you specify the "150 watts", you need to say at what frequency. A transformer that will do 150W at 20Hz is way, way larger than one that will do 150W at 100Hz.

I would wonder about the necessity of the feedback winding. The speaker secondary on the 1570 floats (perhaps for bridging?), you could ground it and take your feedback from speaker +.

Hammond, Slagle, Electra-Print, Heyboer, and Sowter could all likely wind this transformer for you. The core size might be a little bigger than what Mikey generally produces.
