I saw some threads about the differences between Rit-5 Jr and a grid choke. I also found some info saying that the purpose of the interstage is to increase the resistance of the plate. On another board it was said that the interstage transformer replaces the plate resistor in the tube circuit.
So, does this basically boil down to an interstage replaces a plate choke and a grid choke to replace the grid leak resistor ?
