nickel vs. pin EXO-46?

I'm going to order a pair of 16 ohm parallel feed OTs to build a second pair of Paraglow amps with the 45 tubes for my Zu Soul Superfly speakers. What is the sound difference between nickel and pin?
I dug through the search results, and really am still wondering.
