do you mean something like suggested by LL for their chokes (see the last connection diagram in the link)?
Yes: 10mA (coils are in series) but common mode noise is rejected by a small amount due to the limited mutual leakage inductance of the coils. High inductance filters are really a good thing in preamp. I am working on the idea ...
No (I assume you really meant common mode choke): you are wasting a valuable piece of iron ... common mode chokes/main filters cost 10euro.
