As Mike pointed out, the Bugle 45 is a great place to start. I built a pair of these that I still listen to on a daily basis. A really great design. Thanks Gordon! It should be easy to convert to parallel feed. Just use a 5k parallel feed output transformer, like the MQ Robin Hood RH-PF, and a parallel feed choke, like the MQ BCP-15. A 4uF DC blocking cap should be good. For grid chokes, just swap out the 470K resistor on the 45 grid to a suitable choke, like the MQ BCP-16 and up the size of the coupling cap. Gordon used a 0.047uF, increase that to around 0.22uF. There ya go. Read over that Bugle article 2 or 3 times. It's a great way to learn. There are a couple other parallel feed 45 schematics on the web. One is Kurt Strain's design, on the MQ web site, DIY Corner. The other is John Tucker's design (see link). Both are direct coupled, and may not be the best place for a newbie. Still worth a look. You can use the parallel feed output part of the schematic to mate with Gordon's Bugle. Good luck.
