There is an interesting book titled The Body Electric, IIRC, by a guy named Becker, again if IIRC.I had an interesting conversation with an audio designer about my use of crystals. Since I sold some of his products, and had experimented with crystals on them, I told him where and what I had placed in his components. He easily heard the differences and made up "kits" which he then sent to his Beta testers to have a unbiased opinion on sonic changes. All could hear the differences.
The thing I found interesting was that he told me he often meditates, and found that one piece of quartz based mineral was particularly soothing when he did so. While not a "New Ager", he speculated that the piezo qualities of the mineral may actually absorb a certain amount of the electrical energy his body generated, something the New Age people have always claimed: that one needs to find a crystal attuned to the body's personal energy "level".
